Valdez Charitable Foundation Origin
In 2010, a catalyst in Amelia (Amy) B. Valdez's life helped to establish the creation of the Valdez Charitable (VCF) Foundation with the purpose to improve the lives of poor and impoverished individuals by providing access to medical services and educational opportunities in their respective communities.
With the help of donations, fundraisers, volunteers, and the guiding hand of God, VCF has touched and affected the lives of over 5,400 people in the Philippines and India through educational support such as school repairs, classroom supplies, life skills coaching, in addition to medical and vision evaluations, breast cancer screenings and dental care. |
"When I turned 50, I realized that I was thoroughly blessed and decided then that I had enough in my life to help other people in need."
